Veterinary Assistant

For Hannah, veterinary medicine is all about the relationships that grow over time. As a Veterinary Assistant, she loves getting to know both pets and their families, learning each patient’s unique personality while hearing the stories that make every household different. Those everyday conversations and familiar faces are what make her excited to come to work, and she enjoys helping create a welcoming experience for everyone who walks through the clinic doors.

Hannah completed the Dallas College Veterinary Technology Program, where she continued developing the skills needed to care for animals while building a strong appreciation for teamwork and client communication. She believes that helping pets often begins with helping their people feel informed, supported, and confident in the care their companions receive.

Her own family reflects her love for animals of every kind. At home, Hannah shares life with a senior dachshund who confidently runs the household, an energetic young shepherd mix who is always ready for the next adventure, a foster-fail cat she simply could not imagine living without, and an unusually affectionate ball python that enjoys curling up for a quiet cuddle. Each one reminds her that every species has its own personality, needs, and special way of connecting with people.

Outside the clinic, Hannah enjoys crocheting and especially loves working with wool and merino yarns to create handmade projects. She and her husband also enjoy hiking, urban exploring, and geocaching together, even if they admit they are still working on their treasure-finding skills. Hannah also has a fascination with paleontology and loves keeping up with new dinosaur discoveries, especially recent research about young Tyrannosaurus rex.

If she had chosen a different career path, Hannah jokes she would have become a cowboy, happily embracing the adventure and humor that come with the role. Her curiosity, kindness, and genuine enjoyment of connecting with others make her a valued member of the veterinary team.
